These have included STEM, Girls Who Code, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cradles to Crayons, Dress for Success Boston, The Sierra Club Foundation, Earthshare and The Tool Box Initative,
Goldsmith, designer, and company founder Laura Preshong established Laura Preshong Ethical Fine Jewelry and her flagship gallery in Boston Massachusetts, in 2005. Previously, Laura operated a successful art jewelry line that was shown and sold at museum stores and galleries nationwide. She attended The Honolulu Academy of Arts and The Portland School of Art, in Portland, Maine where she studied studio jewelry fabrication, forging and metal raising, casting, wax model making and gemology. Laura is passionate about promoting the role of women in the diamond and jewelry industry, as well as responding ethically to the social and environmental aspects of the industry. Laura lives in Brookline with her blue-haired daughter and Bean their Boston Terrier.
