Laura Preshong offers Free Shipping on all of your online purchases. All orders are shipped via FedEx, UPS or US Mail. You will receive an email confirmation once your order ships with a tracking number for your convenience. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee, contact us with any shipping questions.
All of our jewelry is hand made to order especially for you, and will take from 10 to 14 business days to ship depending on the design. The shipping time for each items is available under 'Details' in the product listing. Ready To Ship, and One of a Kind (OOAK) category items are in store and ready to ship within 2 business days. Custom designs, engraved items and order changes can add to processing time.
We currently only ship to the U.S. and Canada. Free shipping is offered for all U.S. orders. Canadian orders please contact Customer Service at 617-236-7660 for details.
Laura Preshong understands the anticipation of receiving your item and is committed to timely delivery of your order. However, delivery delays due to inclement weather conditions, carrier delays or incorrect addresses are beyond our control. Loose Diamonds are eligible for returns for 7 Days. Custom Design, Customized Designs, Engraved, Worn, Damaged or Sized items are not eligible for return. We strongly believe in the quality of our pieces, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within the noted time frame noted on your invoice for an exchange or full refund. Return dates are determined starting with the first day your item is available for delivery.
In-Store: Return Policy is 14 Day Exchange or Store Credit for fine jewelry purchased in the Boston Gallery. For Engagement Rings, Wedding Bands, Diamonds and Sapphires we offer a 7 Day Return policy from date of purchase. Custom Design, customized designs, rush orders, pieces set with client stones, sized items, engraved items, damaged and worn items are not eligible for return.

Please note that returned items must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Due to their personalized nature, the following orders are nonreturnable: items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have previously been exchanged; and custom designed jewelry. If a piece is returned for a refund or canceled during production, your next purchase will also qualify as final sale. Size alterations to orders currently in process void the complimentary resize, return and exchange policies. If you have a special request for a later delivery date, our 14/7 Day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order was first available to ship. Similarly, if you plan on picking up your ring from our Boston store, our 14/7 day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order is available for pick up.
1. Obtain the Return Shipping Authorization Code: Call us at 617-236-7660 to obtain a return shipping authorization code and if applicable to request your free return ground shipping label for loose stones, and all gold or platinum rings. Write your return shipping authorization code on the outside of the package you are returning, do not write jewelry, diamonds or other value related words anywhere on the package.
2. Pack Your Order Securely: For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all diamond certificates (a $300 replacement fee per certificate will be charged for missing certificates). For resizes, do not include original certificates and accompanying materials.
3. Shipment and Insurance: In order for the insurance to be valid with the use of your prepaid label, you must enclose your item inside its original ring/jewelry box and use the original packaging from your order. If you do not have the original packaging, please include the ring/jewelry box inside a small carrier Priority box and seal it. Place the small carrier Priority box inside a medium carrier Priority box. Attach the label to the outside of the larger box and drop it off at your nearest carrier location. Be certain to obtain a receipt to confirm that the item has been shipped - this receipt will act as proof of insurance and return shipping date.
