Service Manager In-Showroom Boston MA

Laura Preshong is an ethical, designer fine jewelry brand specializing in customer relations, ethical sourcing of materials and gemstones, with a showroom in Boston. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, professional to manage the day to day operations and assist clients by appointment in our Boston showroom. 
 
Overall Duties to Include, but are not exclusive to the following:

● Sales, Customer Service, In Depth Product Knowledge, Brand Message
● Marketing, Sales Tracking, Sales Goals
● Daily Communications with Clients, Appointment Management
● Employee Management, Staffing(hiring, training, daily management)
● Staff meetings and training
● Self-lead training to stay up on Bridal and Wedding trends as well as diamonds and gemstones
● Physical store maintenance such as window and case displays
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
● Participate in and oversee appointments with clients in the showroom
● Develop in-depth knowledge of the Laura Preshong Brand and Ethical Practices
● Assist with remote client sales via email, website, phone, and video communication
● Build clientele and provide an excellent experience for our showroom and on-line guests
● Maintain the overall gallery space, displays, inventory, and assist with order management
● Build, direct and assist team for success
 
Brand Experience
 
● Expert on product, processes, and policies
● Strong understanding of current engagement and wedding band trends
● Strong understanding of the LP Client and the appeal of LP Brand to that market
● Ability to drive sales through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and a full understanding of the
business 
 
Your Crew
 
● Oversee recruiting, hiring, and retention of talent
● Recognizes and develops talented individuals for advancement and growth
● Leads by example and fosters an environment of self-awareness and self- development
● Promotes an environment of collaboration, inspiration and teaching
● Manages schedules, requests for time off

Client Experience

● Understands multi-channel business - implements processes and utilizes tools to better service the customer
● Supports store team to engage in social media platforms
● Teaches and guides client through diamond and ring purchases
 
Overall
 
● Develops and executes merchandising, floor planning, case and window display
● Manages office and general supplies
● Manages client leads and visit follow ups
● Manages client communication and inquiry via email, telephone and Zoom

 Are you a creative professional who LOVES working in a Small Business? We are looking for you!

  • Prior sales experience in jewelry, gemology or other luxury or designer brand
  • Experience with brand/product education and sales
  • Strong communication and writing skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Trustworthy, considerate, and enthusiastic personality
  • Flexible availability(including Saturday) and always punctual
  • Comfortable with a Mac, Google Drive and spreadsheets
  • Organized, efficient and a quick learner

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appointments with clients in the showroom
  • Guide clients through engagement and diamond selection and online platform
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Laura Preshong Brand and Ethical Practices
  • Assist with remote client sales via email, website, phone, and video communication
