Shipping Details

Laura Preshong offers Free Continental U.S. Shipping on all of your online purchases! Engagement rings and wedding bands are shipped complimentary FedEx Express (2 to 3 business days) with a direct signature required and replacement insurance provided. You will receive an email prior to your order being shipped with a tracking number for your convenience. We can not ship to hotels or shipping centers, however, we can have packages held at a FedEx Shipping Center location near you.

Our Current Production Time is 5 Weeks Plus Free Insured Express Shipping. Repairs and Resizing will take 12 to 15  business days plus shipping time(shipping and insurance for returning repairs/resizing is the responsibility of the client).

We currently ship To The U.S. And Canada. Free Shipping is only within the Continental U.S. 

Canadian Shipping - Contact Us for your order shipping to Canada. We will send you an invoice payable online (currently unavailable directly at checkout). Shipping is 85.00 for International Priority Via Fed EX (insurance is additional and is 1% of the order total). Duties, Taxes, any and all Fees and shipping insurance are the responsibility of the buyer.

Engagement Rings and Wedding Bands

Prix Fixe - Our Prix Fixe Collection is a smaller collection of our 6 most popular engagement ring styles, sold complete with an expertly selected diamond or Moissanite center stone (a single line item at check out that specifies 'Prix Fixe' collection), and is eligible for return within 14 days. The item being returned must be received back within the 14 Day review period, starting from the first day your package is out for delivery(or you have been notified for in-showroom pick up), packaged securely and in unworn, undamaged condition. All packaging, and certificates must be returned with the item, lost natural or lab grown diamond certificates will result in a $200 deduction from your refund. After 14 days, all sales are final. 

If an item/order is returned for a refund or is canceled during production, your next purchase will qualify as a final sale. If a subsequent order is placed during production of an existing order, the subsequent order is considered a final sale. All of our engagement rings are handmade to order and may only be ordered one ring at a time(please contact us if you need more than one ring).

A La Cart - Customized engagement rings; choose from any of our fifty styles of engagement ring settings, then select the center stone in any size, type of stone and shape you like from our Center Stone databases and add both items to your cart. We combine your two choices into one dream engagement ring, handmade to order in just 4 weeks! A La Cart engagement rings (setting and center stone sold separately), and all non-eternity diamond and men's wedding bands are eligible for 14-Day return less a 15% Return Fee (less 18% if paid using PayPal). All packaging, and certificates must be returned with the item, lost natural or lab grown diamond certificates will result in a $200 deduction from your refund. After 14 days from the first day your order is out for delivery or you have been notified for in-store pick up all sales are final.

Unfortunately, we do not sell our engagement ring settings without a center stone and can not set client owned stones, any order placed without a center stone will be refunded according to Return Policies. 

General Return Details -  If an item/order is returned for a refund or is canceled during production, your next purchase will qualify as a final sale. If a subsequent order is placed during production of an existing order, the subsequent order is considered a final sale. Size alterations to orders currently in process will count as your one complimentary re-sizing. Engagement Rings may only be ordered one ring at a time. 

Return shipping fees for re-sizing, returns or repairs are the responsibility of the client. 

Non-Eternity and Men's wedding bands are returnable within the 14 day return window less a 15% restocking fee. Eternity Bands are considered non-returnable. 

Return dates for eligible items are determined starting with the first day your item is available/out for delivery, or available for pick up. 

Non Returnable/Non-Refundable -  Items that have been modified at the clients request(customized outside of options available in product drop downs), engraved, or resized rings, smaller or larger ring size requests (outside what is available in our current drop down menu). Custom designed jewelry, loose diamonds and gemstones, rings invoiced as customized due to client changes outside of the options available in the product drop-downs, engraved items, eternity diamond wedding bands, Jenny or Natalia engagement ring settings, damaged or worn items are not eligible for return. Items considered final sale due to previous return or cancelation or subsequent orders placed during production. Expedited shipping charges, rush fees and insurance charges are non-refundable. Any item outside of the 14 Day Return window as outlined on this page. 

 Jewelry

Ready to Ship -  Ready to Ship items are necklaces, earrings, bracelets and stacking rings currently available and will ship in 3 to 4 business days. These items are eligible for return within 14 Days starting from the first day your package is out for delivery. Your return must be received for processing within the 14 Day review period, packaged securely and in unworn, undamaged condition. Re-sized Ready to Ship stacking rings are non-refundable.

Made to Order - We accept returns for Made to Order Fine Jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and stackable rings found under 'Jewelry' that are not sold on our website as engagement or wedding bands/rings) within 14 days of the first day your order is available/out for delivery.  There is a 15% restocking fee(18% if using PayPal) for all Made to Order fine jewelry returns. An online purchase is made via our website, not through an invoice or in-store (see policy below). After 14 days, all sales are final. If an order is returned for a refund or is canceled during production, your next purchase will qualify as a final sale.

A La Cart - Fully customized engagement rings (you select the center stone and the ring setting separately) that are hand made to order using your choice of center stone and setting(sold separately), are not eligible for returns or refunds. All loose diamonds, loose gemstones, wedding bands, custom designs, customized designs, rush orders, engraved items, re-sized rings, damaged or worn items are not eligible for return. 

 Jewelry

In-store fine jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets and stacking rings, not engagement rings or wedding bands) purchases of in-stock items are eligible for exchange or store credit for 14 days from purchase date. This policy applies only to fine jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and non-sized stacking rings) purchased in our South End, Boston showroom via invoice, in-person or telephone. Made to Order pieces (necklaces, earrings, bracelets and stacking rings not in stock) ordered in our Boston gallery will be eligible for 14-Day returns less a 15% restocking fee. Custom or Customized Jewelry is not eligible for Return or Exchange.

 

 How to Return an Order

1. Obtain Your Return Shipping Code: Contact Us to obtain a return shipping code, we want to know your package is coming so we can keep an eye out for it! 

2. Pack Your Order Securely, Ship in a Box and Insure it: For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, do not write jewelry, diamonds or other value related words anywhere on the package and follow the shipping instructions below.

For Resizing- include the name the order was purchased under, the size you need if having your ring re-sized, your return address and phone number. Use a reliable shipping company so you can track your return and pack your ring in a box not a padded envelope. Insure your package or check that your jewelry insurance policy covers your ring during shipping to and from the showroom. For resizes or repairs, do not include original certificates and accompanying materials. Sizing and Repair takes 15 business days plus shipping time. The 20.00 Fed Ex Express return shipping fees are the responsibility of the client.
