Custom Design Jewelry Sales Professional (Full Time - In Person)

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Jewelry Sales Professional to join our team. We are an all inclusive, LGBT friendly environment. This role is essential in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. We are an appointment only, bespoke retail environment specializing in bridal jewelry, in a boutique setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to engage customers effectively, and has knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals. You will be responsible for promoting product, managing inventory, taking appointments to design engagement and wedding rings and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all clients. As a small team we are looking for someone with the ability to step in to many roles daily, depending on the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations, aiding in design and stone selection.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cashiering duties.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and drive sales.
  • Employ upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Maintain high standards of email and phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations related to pricing, and inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace and sales floor.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in luxury retail sales or customer service is required, preferably in a fine jewelry store environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this can enhance customer engagement and service quality.

Compensation:

  • $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year (non-commission)
